The Dangers Lead Poses
I love old houses, and I enjoy living in a house that was built in 1920. Recently, however, I've been learning just how dangerous something in my house is--specifically, the lead paint that must surely be there under the current top coat. Lead poisoning is most dangerous for children, but it can also be a hazard for adults, and I want to make sure our home is safe for everyone.

The Health Department says that 60 percent of the housing in Forsyth County was built before 1978, which means there probably lead in most of them.
